Our story

Started with one roaster and a lot of curiosity

Duck Duck Goose began as a weekend habit: roasting a few hundred grams for friends, chasing the cup that made us stop and pay attention. The friends kept asking, so here we are.

We buy small lots from growers we trust, roast them in tiny batches, and post them within days of roasting. Nothing sits on a shelf.

Questions

Good to know

When will my coffee arrive?

We roast on set days and post within two working days of roasting. NZ courier usually takes 1 to 3 working days after that.

How much is shipping?

$8 anywhere in New Zealand, free on orders over $60. Pickup in Christchurch is always free; we'll email you to arrange a time.

Which grind should I choose?

Whole bean keeps longest. If you don't have a grinder, pick Espresso for machines and stovetops, Filter for pour-over and drip, or Plunger for French press.

How do subscriptions work?

Switch your cart to Subscribe, pick every two weeks or monthly, and every bag is 10% off. You can pause, skip or cancel by emailing us.

Are the tins reusable?

Yes. Bring your tin back for pickup refills, or keep it for your pantry.
